The Renegades: Ominara Score wins the Best Composer Award at the 2023 LA Sci-Fi Film Festival
It was with great honor that Avelange accepted the Europa Gold Award of Best Composer at the 2023 Los Angeles Sci-Fi Film Festival.
A huge thank to the LA Sci-Fi jury’s for the honor, and to the entire film’s cast and crew who poured so much effort into this, which inspired me to create this score! Thank you to Producer and Writer Frank Zanca for entrusting me with his baby, and to Director Tim Russ for the incredible work. I want to dedicate this award of course to the late legendary Nichelle Nichols, as this project was her last screen appearance. She was and will always be an inspiration to us all…
