HOLLYWOOD MUSIC COMPOSER, CHARLES-HENRI AVELANGE: AN IMMERSIVE MUSIC & ART STOP IN LOS ANGELES, BEFORE THE GRAMMY AWARDS®

Charles-Henri Avelange on the Red Carpet of his Album Release Premiere at Galerie XII - Los Angeles on October 1st 2022

Something absolutely MAGICAL happened yesterday! To celebrate the recent nomination of my album "The Oeuvre of Leon Oury" at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards and the recent 2 Gold Medals at the Global Music Awards, we produced a Red Carpet Album Release Party + Immersive Experience Art Exhibition in the prestigious Galerie XII - Los Angeles in Santa Monica, owned by Valérie-Anne Giscard d'Estaing. Our guests were treated to an art exhibit of my ancestor Leon Oury (1846-1929) who is the inspiration for my album. They were able to see the paintings and artifact that I have in my possession here in Los Angeles. But also an immersive room where they could listen to the music in 5.1 surround sound as it was intended to be heard, paired with visuals of the exact paintings that inspired each themes.

And cherry on the cake, guests were surprised by a unique live performance of two of the themes from the album.

A big thank you goes to Valérie-Anne Giscard d'Estaing for providing us this beautiful space to have this unique event, but also to my amazing publicist Claire Arnaud-Aubour without whom this event would have never been the success that it was. A huge thank you goes as well to our sponsors, Reel Muzik Werks, publisher of my album and to RMW’s President Teri Nelson Carpenter for believing in its success. To Pierrot Gourmand® France, who provided the delicious lollipops shipped to us all the way from France! They have been making these lollipops since 1892, and my ancestor Leon Oury used to enjoy them just as much as we did yesterday. To Pitchoun Bakery - Los Angeles, for providing the delicious macaroons that we all enjoyed and to The Wine Source Inc. for the amazing Champagne Louis de Sacy that was served. But also to our musicians who went out of their way to make sure we get this beautiful performance. We had Ambroise Aubrun and Jonathan Sacdalan who also recorded on the album, and guest violist and cellist Corinne Sobolewsky and Armen Ksajikian. Because the album was produced during the pandemic, just like the audience, it was the first time I was hearing it performed by an ensemble at once! And it was absolutely devine. I also want to thank Tibrina Hobson of Getty Images for the wonderful Red Carpet pictures you can all now enjoy and Adrian Roup for the event pictures. But also a big thank you TV5 MONDE (for those of you who are not familiar, TV5 MONDE is the largest French TV Channel in the world, with over 400 Million viewers worldwide) for coming and doing a nice documentary of the event, and videographer Thierry Brouard for capturing its essence. Stay tuned as there will be more surprises coming in the next few days! Thank you to all of you who were able to come celebrate with us, it was an honor to have you as our guests. It was very emotional as I had not seen a lot of you in a long time due to the pandemic. I really do thank you all from the bottom of my heart. And to all of you who are supporting us from near and afar, I am deeply touched by your kind words and best wishes THANK YOU!
