2023 HIMawards Official Nomination
Composer Charles-Henri Avelange had the privilege to attend the 2023 Hollywood Independent Music Awards last week at The Avalon in Hollywood, CA.
What an amazing event! And it was quite an honor to have been nominated in the Best Contemporary Classical category for ONE WISH - Theme for the Make-A-Wish® Foundation, along so many other amazing composers. I didn’t transform the nomination into a win, but as HIMAwards president Brent Harvey said so graciously that night: we were all winners. A huge congratulations to all my peers and colleagues that were there. We cheer for you all!
